Last night, July 17th, Frank Ocean was involved in some sort of car accident while on his way to the Wiltern Theater to perform for his fans. The result of the accident was his BMW M3 suffering some serious damage on its right side. Based off of the pictures that he put up on his Instagram account it looks as though the side of his car must've gotten shredded up by another passing car . That'll definitely take a nice amount of cash to repair. In light of the car's injuries, Frank luckily was not harmed at all and even made it to his show on time and addressed the accident to his crowd of loyal fans by announcing, "I got into a wreck like 45 minutes ago, so I'm like mentally f*cked up. Soulja Boy and 50 Cent have linked up together music-wise in the past when they recorded their track "Mean Mug". St. Louis rap veteran Nelly, recently hit up 92 Q Jams in Baltimore to speak with "The Ko Show's" iiKane on the E! Report, to address various rumors that have been floating around the air about him. iiKane first asked him about his relationship with Ashanti and whether the two are still romantic, to which Nelly responded "Yea, we're pretty cool". iiKane then asked him if the rumors regarding him owing her half of a million dollars were true, but Nelly laughed the question off and gave her a firm "no", after he had gotten over the humor of the rumor. When he was asked about various sources whispering in people's ears saying that he was spending all of his money to support a bad cocaine habit, Nelly said, "Na, why would you do that? A foolish and twisted Burger King employee thought it would be funny to take a picture of himself standing in two bins full of lettuce that he was actually going to serve to customers and post it online! The employee's identity has been disclosed, and one of the shift managers who works at the Burger King in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, assured The Cleveland Scene that he, along with the shift manager on duty when the incident occurred, would be fired. This genius employee posted the picture to the controversial website "4chan" on July 16th, with the caption that read "This is the lettuce you eat at Burger King." Even though this website is known for its explicit and highly uncensored content, some users who saw the photo were so disgusted that they used the GPS data embedded in the picture to locate the exact address of the Burger King where the picture was taken. They contacted local news sources in the Mayfield Heights area and also contacted the Burger King via telephone and email. It apparently only took 4chan users 15 minutes to pinpoint the lettuce tampering employee. The Huffington Post learned that the employee had been a part of that Burger King team for a long time and that this was his first known disciplinary incident. If he really has been a part of that Burger King for such a long time, and this is only the first time he has gotten caught for contaminating customers' food, you can only imagine how many people have eaten some sort of Burger King food that has been tampered with by him in a disgusting way. Swizz Beatz and Nas got together for a collaboration record called "Summer On Smash" for Nas' newly released Life Is Good album. Swizz and Nas actually worked on a few other songs in the studio as well however only "Summer On Smash" made its way on Nas' album. During a brief interview with MTV News, Swizz spoke about the actual experience of working with Nas in the studio for the album and how as a producer, he is a big fan of Nas and really wanted to work with him for Life Is Good. "We collaborated on a couple of other joints also, it was a fun time working with my Virgo brother. I listened to the album and the whole entire album was super lyrical, it had all the different elements, I just think that it was perfect because it was dropping in the summer. You know as a producer you're a fan of the artist so you have stuff like, 'Yo I need him to do this.'" It seems as though George Zimmerman and his wife Shellie have been profiting off of the case involving him murdering Trayvon Martin. Ever since he was first arrested for killing the unarmed teenager, he has established a charity for himself and his wife, and they have acquired an enormous amount of money thus far. While he was in jail, George Zimmerman and his wife Shellie spent over $36,000 of donation money they acquired from an Internet charity they established for themselves, in just 18 days. Court documents revealed that both George and his wife spent a huge amount of the donation money on a wide variety of bills and new purchases. The couple dropped $6,500 on Internet and phone bills, new cells phones which cost $300 each, $1,300 for a two-year contract to AT&T Wi-Fi, installed a telephone landline for $2,500, paid off an entire year-long Version contract, and dropped at least $7,000 on various credit card bills. According to The Miami Herald, the Zimmermans used their donation money on a even more payments including car payments, his bond, jail commissary, a loan for his parents as well as other things. The Miami Herald reported: "They used $4,378 on automotive expenses, making payments on two car loans while renting another for more than $1,500. Gas: $800. Zimmerman paid off a $3,000 loan to his parents, paid $5,000 for bond, spent $800 at the jail commissary and $600 on jailhouse calling cards. Nas has been continuing the promotion for his recently-released "Life Is Good" album and during a performance at Hot97's album release party at Tammany Hall Tuesday night, Nas reaffirmed the status of Hip Hop music. As he was set to perform the track "Locomotive", Nas brought out Swizz Beatz and long-time friend AZ. Before starting the song, the Queensbridge rap veteran had some rather harsh words for pop music. "This is music that I just put together, I'm praying will be the inspiration for my brothers that's in the rap game. I think a lot of us are confused about who we are. It's important that we stay ten toes down at all time. F*k pop, f*k all that sh*t. We don't imitate pop, pop imitates us! So that's why we go back to the gutter. We're number one in about 5 or 6 countries around the world. And none of this is pop. Stick to your guns, do what you do...." It didn't seem as if Nas was singling out any pop singer in particular. West Coast rap artist Game and Miami Dolphins wide receiver Chad Ochocinco got into a bit of a Twitter beef over the weekend as the two threw shots at each other. It remains unclear how the arguments began, but the two didn't hold back from saying what they had to say. Wyclef Jean and Lauryn Hill have been able to create some great songs together throughout their extensive careers. But according to Wyclef, the two haven't spoken to each other for a while, which doesn't look good for those who've been yearning for a possible Fugees reunion. In a recent interview, Wyclef talks about Hill. "Actually, you know, I ain't speak to Lauryn. It's been a minute." Wyclef then spoke about Hill's recent tax issues. Jeremy Lin officially became a member of the Houston Rockets Tuesday night after the New York Knicks decided to not match their offer and keep Lin in the Big Apple. In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, the newest member of the Rockets organization opened up about his free agency situation and shared details about conversations he had with officials from the Knicks organization. Lin stated that he was contacted by Knicks general manager Glen Grunwald and in a phone call that lasted less than 30 seconds, he told Lin "We wanted to keep you, but it couldn't work out. Tell your family I said hello, and good luck the rest of the way." Lin says he responded with a evenly brief remark as well, saying "I just want to thank you. Best of luck in the future." Lin then went into more detail about his free agency experience, revealing that he wanted to remain in a Knicks uniform, but understands the business of the league. "Honestly, I preferred New York. But my main goal in free agency was to go to a team that had plans for me and wanted me. I wanted to have fun playing basketball. Now I'm definitely relieved." Knicks head coach Mike Woodson also led Lin to believe that he was a lock to come back to the Knicks organization. During a dinner meeting in Beverly Hills, Lin says his former head coach told him he was on his way back. "Woodson was saying, 'You're going to be a starter, you're going to be a big part of the team,'" Lin said. "I came away really excited." The 2001 beef between Nas and Jay-Z remains one of the most highly publicized Hip Hop confrontations to date. The two have since set aside their differences and have become quite good friends. But the topic of who won the epic battle still serves as a great debate. Rap veteran Large Professor recently recalled the beef and said that the original version of Nas' "Ether" track was never released. "When Nas was first recording 'Ether' it was over a Swizz Beatz beat, and he was getting at him. That was the original lyrics about, 'It should've been you on the plane crash,' and all of that. I was there and I was kind of hype, but you know I'm like an adrenaline junkie." In Jay's diss track "Takeover", he mentioned that he showed Nas his first Tec-9 while on tour with Large Professor and he says Jay's lyrics were honest. "It was just a matter of Jay stating the facts. He was trying to bring a lot of facts to the table, and he was going at Nas. Someway, somehow it as a, 'Yo, you was on tour with Large Professor' type of thing. We was all on tour—on that same level and all of that." Regardless of the two New York rap juggernauts going at it to that extent, Large Professor says there was no beef while Hov and Nas were on tour. Jay Electronica may be the reason why Kate Rothschild and Ben Goldsmith's relationship ended, however the romance between Jay and Kate is only continuing to blossom. According to Kate's friends, she allegedly told them that she was in a miserable relationship with millionaire Mr. Goldsmith, and that Jay "has saved my life in many ways." Well it looks as though they are becoming even more serious, as Jay has just got gotten himself a flat in Kensington, West London, which is where Kate lives with her three children. Along with getting the new home, Jay apparently set up a dinner meeting for Kate and his mother this past weekend. According to an inside source: "Jay wants his mum to meet Kate and has arranged a dinner for them,' says my informant.
