Cash Money Records has been a dynasty in hip-hop for several years now, but that doesn't mean they are slowing down any. The Birdman and Slim headed label most recently signed RedOne, a Moroccan producer and songwriter who has produced hits for Lady Gaga, Usher, Nicki Minaj and others. He's responsible for Gaga's "Poker Face", "Bad Romance", and "Just Dance, Usher's "More", and Minaj's "Starships".
"I have always been impressed with the way Slim and Baby do business," explained RedOne. "Their determination to build their artists' careers from the ground to superstardom shows their sheer commitment. I have strived to work with the best in the industry throughout my career and this opportunity to partner my 2101 label with Cash Money on these projects is one such example."
One of RedOne's first tasks under Cash Money is to help launch the careers of new and unknown artists Mohombi and TalkBack, so look out for those two names in the coming future.
