Man Stabs His Mother to Deat, Stabbed Her More Than 40 Times All Over Money

Police say a 64-year-old woman was fatally stabbed in a Brooklyn apartment, and her 31-year

old son is in custody.  Authorities responded to a 911 call at 1220 Ocean Ave. just before 11 p.m.

Saturday.  They found Anne Cohen with multiple stab wounds to the torso and neck. Cohen

was stabbed more than 40 times, a police source said. She was taken to the hospital where

she was pronounced dead.  Police charged her son Richard with murder in connection to her

death.  Authorities say the two had been arguing over money.
