Famed actor Sherman Hemsley, who was best known for his role as George Jefferson on the hit sitcom "The Jeffersons", has passed away, according to law enforcement in El Paso, Texas. He died at his home from an unknown cause. It is said natural causes may be the reason.
Hemsley did not have a wife or any children. He was 74-years-old.
